Datil Pepper Chili

3 lbs. chili-ground or cubed beef chuck
2 medium onions, chopped
2 medium red bell peppers, chopped
4 cloves garlic, mashed and then finely chopped
8-12 datil peppers, stemmed and finely chopped
4 tbs. chili powder
3 tsp. cumin
3 tsp. oregano
2 10-3/4oz. cans beef bouillon
1 cup tomato sauce
1 12oz. can beer
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
juice of one lemon

Saute beef, onions and bell pepper in large pot. Drain. Add remaining ingredients except cilantro and lemon juice and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for one hour. Add cilantro and lemon juice and simmer for thirty minutes. Taste for salt and add if necessary.
